Well, here we are, I’ve finally done it. For the first time since Week 3 I’ve topped 100 fantasy points with the B-Team. Not only did I top it this week, I crushed it. I scored a grand total of 127.4 fantasy points, the most ever on the B-Team. It’s a good feeling after falling less than five points shy in back-to-back weeks. With just two more renditions of the series left in us this season, including this one, let's hope we can top 100 points at least once more. This B-Team series sees us construct a hypothetical fantasy football lineup consisting of players owned in less than 40-percent of Yahoo and/or ESPN leagues. The goal of the series is to top 100 fantasy points with the made-up team. The purpose is to show that there is regularly available value on the waiver wire at almost all times.
I was sitting pretty good entering Monday Night’s game with 95 points and Darius Slayton yet to play. Slayton then went off for 32.4 fantasy points propelling the B-Team to an all-time high score of 127.4 fantasy points. Zach Pascal finished second to Slayton’s performance with a 20.4 point performance of his own. My lowest scoring player was James Washington with 7.3 points. You can see how I did last week below and how I’ve done overall in past weeks at the bottom of this article.

Week 15 Picks
Quarterback
Ryan Fitzpatrick (Miami Dolphins) - Owned in 25% of Yahoo and 15.3% of ESPN leagues
Ryan Fitzpatrick was our B-Team quarterback last week and although he did score around 15 points, it was kind of a disappointing week. He’ll bounce back and post another 20-plus point performance this week however as he gets his favorite weapon, DeVante Parker back, who missed last week with an injury. The Dolphins also get the New York Giants, who have allowed the 7th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The game is also in New York and any game in New York in December should be concerning due to weather, but if anyone can sling the ball in bad weather, it’s Fitzmagic.
Running Backs
Boston Scott (Philadelphia Eagles) - Owned in 6% of Yahoo and 2.5% of ESPN leagues
I feel like I’m writing on some Survivor fan forum here. Boston Rob, I mean Boston Scott. I guess you have to be a fan of Survivor to get that. Anyhow, Scott took advantage of a very limited bench and Miles Sanders dealing with cramping to have a great Week 15 showing on Monday Night Football. Jordan Howard still remains out and Miles Sanders just isn’t getting the job done. Scott saw 10 carries for 59 yards and a score and added 69 yards on six catches against the Giants last week. With literally no one healthy to throw the football too, the Eagles would be crazy not to get Scott involved again this week against Washington, who has allowed the 10th most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
Peyton Barber (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - Owned in 23% of Yahoo and 37% of ESPN leagues
This is not the flashiest pick. There isn’t a super high ceiling with this one. I’m going with the safe bet and going with volume here to get some safe and guaranteed points (hopefully.) Barber has seen at least 12 chances over his last three games and has seen 13 and 17 in the other two games. The Buccaneers also get the Lions this week, who have allowed the third most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
Wide Receivers
Greg Ward (Philadelphia Eagles) - Owned in 1% of Yahoo and 1.3% of ESPN leagues
Someone has to catch the ball in Philadelphia, right? Well that’s at least what I’m going for here in this pick. Ward has seen 19 targets over the last three weeks and saw nine last week against the New York Giants. Washington is half-way decent in defending the pass honestly but with the NFC East title race as tight as it is, the Eagles have to show up and Ward should be heavily involved.
Anthony Miller (Chicago Bears) - Owned in 26% of Yahoo and 24.2% of ESPN leagues
The fact that Anthony Miller remains owned in less than 30-percent, let alone 40-percent of leagues is kind of mind blowing. He’s a PPR machine. In two of his last four games he has seen 11-plus targets twice. Last week against the Cowboys a touchdown saved his week. This week he gets a tough one against the Packers who have allowed the sixth least amount of fantasy points to opposing wide receivers but I’m hanging my hat on the fact that he should see plenty of targets playing from behind.
Tight End
Ian Thomas (Carolina Panthers) - Owned in 8% of Yahoo and 1.6% of ESPN leagues
This is strictly match-up based. I was thinking of going David Njoku here against the Arizona Cardinals but I still don’t trust him or the Cleveland Browns. So I went with the next best thing in Ian Thomas against the Seattle Seahawks, who have allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Thomas had a big week last week, seeing 10 targets and scoring a touchdown. He should see plenty of work this week as the Panthers host Seattle.
Flex
Randall Cobb (Dallas Cowboys) - Owned in 32% of Yahoo and 38.8% of ESPN leagues
Cobb has had a few down games recently but I’m going to roll with the fact that the Cowboys have to show up and have a big week if they want to keep pace with the Eagles who have Washington this week. Cobb had a great stretch of games a few weeks back and can get back to that this week as the Cowboys play host to the Los Angeles Rams, which has shootout written all over it. With Ramsey on Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup being focused on too, this could leave plenty of chances for Cobb this week.
Defense
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Owned in 8% of Yahoo and 23.8% of ESPN leagues
The Buccaneers travel to take on the Detroit Lions and David Blough. Blough had a less than inspiring performance a week ago going 24-40 for 205 yards, a touchdown and an interception. The entire Lions’ offense is banged up and is missing play markers all over the field. The Bucs’ defense did post 16 fantasy points in Week 12 against Atlanta and 23 fantasy points in Week 13 against the Jaguars. This is a boom or bust pick here.
